Nina Korbe
Soprano
Award-winning soprano Nina Korbe appeared in Opera Queensland’s productions of La bohème, Die Fledermaus, and more, and performed as soloist with Camerata Chamber Orchestra, Queensland Ballet, Southern Cross Soloists, and the Goldner String Quartet.
Nina debuted with Opera Australia as Maria in West Side Story. She will continue in her position as Artist in Residence with the Queensland Youth Orchestra (QYO), where she performed across Europe.
A proud Koa, Kuku Yalanji, Wakka Wakka woman, Nina champions Indigenous Voices. She sits on the QYO’s Reconciliation Action Plan Board, Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s First Nations Advisory Board and is the First Nations advisor to the Australian Music Foundation.
