Providing an industry-based experience

Victorian Opera’s Work Experience Program gives Year 10 students the chance to work with other like-minded students whilst being mentored by leading professionals in the performing arts industry. At the conclusion of the week-long placement, students present their own production plan to the Company Executive, covering design, direction, company management and budget.

Victorian Opera is not accepting applications for Work Experience placements in 2025. Details will be announced in late 2025 regarding applications for its 2026 Work Experience Program.
