Every year, Victorian Opera delivers an education-focused performance for its Access All Areas program.
In Term 2 2025, we are proud to present a brand new Australian opera, called The Lyrebird’s Voice, an exciting production specifically tailored to primary school-aged students. The Lyrebird’s Voice explores the concepts of bravery, identity, diversity and belonging through colourful and charismatic characters of Australian wildlife.
Access All Areas includes four interactive workshops and a performance that can be viewed live in-theatre or streamed online. All content is easily accessed online via a dedicated viewing portal and available on demand for six months, to better suit individual school timetabling.
There are three venues for schools to choose from to attend in-theatre as well as the online only option.
